About Me

Female Wedding Photographer

Hi there, I’m Martina, the “Caribbean Italian” in love with photography and capturing beautiful and inspirational wedding stories around the globe. I was actually born in Novi Ligure, Alessandria Provence, Italy but have been living in the Caribbean and Mexico for the past 11 years; becoming a fine mix of Caribbean Vibes with Italian Roots.

The best part of my day is waking up next to my baby girl and having a croissant with Nutella and a good cup of coffee. Aisha (my daughter’s name) is my biggest inspiration as she encourages me to be the very best version of myself. I also have 2 crazy and chubby cats who brighten our day: Felix & Eva.

During my early teens, I experimented with my dad’s Reflex Olympus and it was love at first sight. By the time I was 19, I took a photography course and landed my first full-time photography job on cruise ships. At this point, I knew I would never stop traveling.

In 2006, a friend asked me to help him shoot a wedding in DR and I was ecstatic!! I realized that I wanted to dedicate my time to becoming a professional wedding photographer. Just the thought of documenting such a special day in people’s lives blew my mind. I’ve been shooting destination weddings since then and have no plans to stop!!!

My style is 99% photo documentary with a mix of direction and posed shots when needed. I dig emotions and beautiful natural light. My weddings are a mix of happy tears, kids playing in the background, guests laughing, flares, sun-kissed skin, magical sunsets, sweet glances and tons of moments that when put together, tell an authentic love story.

Weddings, for me, are like a window to a unique and intimate moment in someone’s life. The people you love and appreciate the most will be there: friends, family and sometimes even your pet! Weddings are like a Journey, and I’m grateful and privileged to be part of it.

I currently live in Riviera Maya, Mexico but travel often to my hometown in Italy and love capturing destinations weddings in any corner of the world.

Choose me, if you like what I do and how I am. In return, I promise to pour my heart and soul into every image captured. Please drop a line HERE I’m so excited to hear from you!
